Peter Abichaker is an American & Asian pop singer/songwriter. During his teenage years in Boston he was inspired by the beautiful storytelling and dramatic melodies of Asian pop music. He began to find his voice through writing lyrics and melodies while drawing on musical influences from both eastern and western pop culture. He had the unique opportunity to study Chinese in high school and then continued pursuing it at UCLA – including studying abroad in Taipei for a semester. He has performed on Chinese television competitions like Beijing Television’s "Arts From our Land" & CCTV’s "Chinese Bridge" and his voice has been described as "magnetic" by NowNews Taiwan.

 

彼得阿比謝克（中文簡稱謝克）是一位美國流行歌手及唱作人。謝克的青少年時代在波士頓度過，那時的他被亞洲流行音樂裏優美的故事性和戲劇性的旋律深深吸引和啓發。他吸收了東西方流行文化的音樂影響，開始在創作歌詞和旋律中找到屬於自己的聲音。他高中時期在機緣巧合下開始學習了中文，後又在UCLA（加州大學洛杉磯分校）深造時赴台北交換學習了一學期。他曾在中國的電視比賽中演出，包括北京衛視的“外國人中華才藝大賽”和中央電視台的“漢語橋”，被台灣的“今日新聞”評價為非常“磁性的嗓音”。
